Mo for a Bro team
tfd support raise Prostate Cancer awareness
44 members and friends joined the tfd Bro’s with a Mo team, some went for the full beard until they got used to it and most were given strict instructions by wives & partners to make sure it was gone by Christmas! The Wantage Fire Brigade, Grove Rugby Club, Green & Co, PB Ledbury & groups from AEA at Harwell gathered together at Shush in Wantage on Wednesday 30th November in front of a panel of judges and the crew from Geezers barbers for the ultimate Mo-Off!
The judges, Charlotte Dickson the Mayoress of Wantage, Tammy Head owner of Shush & Jacqui Crayford landlady at the Hare at Hendred got into the spirit of the evening to pick out the best Mo’s in three categories; Magnum PI, Mexican & Handlebar. Some participants raised even more money on the night by vowing to keep their Mo’s for another month. A short film was shown during the evening which brought home just how common prostate cancer is and how it can be fully treated if it’s diagnosed in the early stages. Next year will be even bigger so get your company involved and come along to the Official Mo-Off at Shush in November 2012. Click here for more info about Movember
