Sports Massage & Physiotherapy

At Progressive Physiotherapy we treat musculo-skeletal problems including spinal and joint pain, sports injuries, arthritis, occupational related disorders and post-operative rehabilitation, in both Adults and Children. Our main clinic is based in Wantage health centre, Mably way but two evenings a week we offer a satellite clinic in TFD.

We are registered with Health Profession Council (HPC), members of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and Physio First.

Experience has enabled us to make sound judgments regarding the most effective way to treat pain and injury. No two cases are identical and best results are achieved when the person is treated as a whole.

At the initial appointment, as well as making a full physical assessment to reach a clinical diagnosis, time is taken to address the patient’s individual lifestyle and factors that may have contributed to the condition. From this consultation a unique, comprehensive treatment plan is created for each patient. We also believe in helping our patients to understand fully, where possible, their condition and its causes so that every effort can be made to avoid a recurrence.

A one hour initial consultation is £45 and half an hour follow up appointments are £35. However, we offer a £5 discount at the initial consultation to TFD members. We are more than happy to offer one off advice/self management sessions.
